Rock Flute at
the Cinema Bar

by The Hippy Coyote

Last night's gig at the THE CINEMA BAR (used to be Pete's Cinema Bar--used to be a Porno Theatre), went amazingly well. Especially cool was my flute performance. I was especially well-connected to my flute. It felt good and was a lot of fun.

My solo version of "Bouree" by Jethro Tull was really good.

The rest of the time after our band played was fun also. I jammed with a band called DIRT. That was a lot of fun. Once I know what key they're playing and what the basic melody is--I can always find something to add with my flute.

Someone in the audience commented, "I never knew a flute could do that!"

Yep, no pussy flute playing here.

Someone at another gig said they "never knew that a flute could play rock'n'roll."
